The project demands described a space which the people from Barcelona could seek refuge from the increasingly harsh weather patterns, most notably extreme rain and heat, located along part of an old water way called the Rec Comtal between the areas of Sant Andreu and Vallbona. This was meant as temporary housing that equally included other needs for people to be able to go about their daily lives protected from an increasingly harsh climate.
